Hermès Le Geographe silk square 1992\r\n\r\nABOUT | Rare vintage Hermès silk scarf titled “Le Geographe”, designed by Sandra Laroche in 1992. This splendid square, rich in details, pays homage to the ship that set sail in the 1800s for a scientific journey to Australia under the command of Nicolas Baudin, depicted alongside other explorers in the corners of the scarf. At the center, we find a map of Australia surrounded by specimens of Australian fauna and flora. The silk is jacquard with a pattern of anchors and kangaroos. Light blue color.
